Monthly Update

As are pool has been operational for about a month, we would like to give you a monthly update. Up until May 2nd our pool has generated 38.67 EGLD in total, of which 2.32 EGLD was donated to teamtrees. At an EGLD price of $179, this resulted in $415 or 415 Trees. ImpactStaking has seen over 170 delegators over the first few weeks, with only a handful of people also undelegating. Every time someone undelegated however, the pool was quickly filled up again. We currently have 2 nodes active, and will continue to have 2 nodes at least until the start of Elrond Phase 4.

Increase of Delegation Cap
Since there is a huge demand of staking Elrond, many stakingproviders have decided to raise or even unlimit their Delegation Cap. As a result, the APR of most providers decreased while we maintained a stable APR as we did not raise our Delegation Cap. We feel that we should move a little bit with the market, as it would not be fair to only let other providers increase their Delegation Cap while we do nothing. Therefore, we decided to increase our Delegation Cap from 5500 EGLD to 6000 EGLD. This results in 500 EGLD top-up/node with an approximate APR of 17% (after service fee). On May 3th we already increased our Delegation Cap by 100 EGLD, and we will gradually make more room by increasing the Cap 4 more times with 100 EGLD. This will also give the opportunity to more recent EGLD users who weren’t able to stake with us on our very first day.

The Future
Overall we are very happy with our operations and are looking forward to the future. We hope to be able to grow our pool a little bit more in Phase 4. But meanwhile we will also work on some small but interesting new features for our delegators, so stay tuned!
